Homrich Berg Appoints New Principals (2017)

Homrich Berg (“HB”) proudly announces the appointment of Ross Bramwell, CFA, CPA, Christopher Kowal, CFP®, Benjamin Riddick, CFP® and John Taylor, CFP® as Principals at the firm.  “All four of our new shareholders have been instrumental in HB’s success and have consistently exhibited dedication to our clients,” said HB’s CEO, Andy Berg.  “My partners and I are proud to welcome them as the newest owners of HB.”

Ross Bramwell, CFA, CPA joined Homrich Berg in 2013. He has more than 12 years experience across the accounting, financial services, and investment industries. He served as Director of Investments for a San Diego based multifamily office where he performed due diligence on traditional and private investments including real estate, hedge funds, managed futures, and private equity. He also served as a member of Heartland Advisors RIA Advisory Council for three years. Ross earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s in accounting from Brigham Young University.

Christopher Kowal, CFP® joined Homrich Berg in November of 2006.  He attended Wake Forest University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business and a minor in international studies.  He completed the Executive Program for Financial Planning Certification at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2008 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.  He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and past Board Member of the Georgia chapter.

Benjamin Riddick, CFP® joined Homrich Berg in May of 2005 after interning with the firm while in college. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management with high honors, including certificates in finance and accounting from Georgia Tech. He completed Boston University’s financial planning certification program in 2007 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

John Taylor, CFP® joined Homrich Berg in 2007 after working at Greene Financial Center as a portfolio analyst.  He attended the University of Georgia, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in consumer economics with an emphasis in financial planning. In 2009, John became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.  He is an active member of Operation HOPE and Junior Achievement, organizations dedicated to educating students on financial literacy.
