Leading Southeast RIA adds key personnel to support next phase of growth & infrastructure

ATLANTA — December 16, 2021 — Homrich Berg (HB) is expanding its internal infrastructure with the recent additions of Kruti Bolick as Chief Risk Officer and Randy Schultz as Vice President of Operations. The pair join the $10 billion RIA on the heels of its recent expansion in Florida, as the firm continues to build out its physical footprint in the Southeast region. Bolick and Schultz add new levels of expertise to the already deep management team to provide support and direction as HB grows.

As CRO, Bolick will build upon the strong compliance program the firm already has in place led by Chief Compliance Officer Chris Casdia, and focus on holistic risk management to further position the firm for success as it grows organically and through targeted acquisitions. “I’m looking forward to broadening the scope of what HB can do by thinking collectively about compliance, strategic, operational and investment risk,” says Bolick. “The firm is in a promising position for growth and being proactive about risk is critical for success. I’ve worked in the industry for over 20 years and am excited by the culture, values, people and opportunity to serve in a new role here.”

As VP of Operations, Schultz will work closely with COO Kyle Glenn to optimize processes for scale and service quality so that advisors can focus solely on offering advice and support for HB clients.  “Customer service is part of my DNA, and HB’s culture of taking care of clients is what drew me to the firm,” explains Schultz. “I love figuring out what can ‘make the flywheel spin faster,’ and by simplifying processes, our teams will be able to focus on what they do best: serving clients.”

“We’re thrilled to add both Kruti and Randy to the team,” adds Thomas Carroll, President of Homrich Berg. “Their experience and expertise will be invaluable, helping us to maintain our client-first focus as we grow.”

Bolick brings over 20 years of financial services industry experience to the firm, previously holding posts at SunTrust, Wells Fargo and PWC. She has a B.B.A. in finance and marketing from Georgia State University and completed the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School. In addition, Bolick is a Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS).

Schultz offers deep operations experience from outside the industry, having worked at Home Depot for 10 years in store operations, workforce planning, industrial engineering and optimization processes related to HR, IT and financial impacts. Additionally, he holds a B.S. in management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
