Michelle joined HB Wealth in August 2025 and serves as a Wealth Strategist, providing clients with personalized guidance on tax-efficient estate, charitable, and wealth transfer strategies, with particular depth in special needs planning.
Prior to joining HB Wealth, after graduating from law school, Michelle built a diverse career, spanning government relations and over two decades of estate planning experience. She began her career in healthcare policy and lobbying, developing a strong foundation in legislative and regulatory processes, before earning a Masters of Law (Estate Planning). Since then, Michelle has worked across multiple facets of trust and estate planning, including serving as Director of Trust and Estate Settlement for the Arthritis Foundation, serving as a wealth strategist within a private bank, founding and operating her own elder and special needs planning practice, and practicing as both an associate attorney and partner in private firms. Her background brings a practical, policy-informed perspective to complex planning matters.
Michelle has served in leadership and governance roles with several nonprofit organizations, including the Anti-Defamation League and Jewish Home Life Communities, and is the founder of a networking group for professional women.
Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Georgia. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and later earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law. Michelle is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Michelle enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her twin son and daughter, playing pickleball, traveling, attending live comedy and cultural events, and pursuing creative interests such as improv and television writing.
